Locations and Assignments
We have nine training institutes around the country. Check out our map to see where they are located and their approximate beginning and end dates. We consider your current location and preferences to determine your institute assignment. Depending upon the number of applicants in each institute’s pool, our corps size, and other factors, we may interview some applications to work at an institute other than the one where they would ordinarily be assigned.
Are room and board covered? Yes, all institute staff receive room and board, with the exception of resource room specialists. Options differ across the nine institutes, but all provide dorm-style housing and certain accommodations for staff members with families.
